Charcoal Abstract

Last week our class began working with charcoal and for this task we had to create a piece of art work inspired by or based off of a piece of art work or by a specific artist.. My artist was Prajkta.P her art work is very coll and I enjoyed on this piece of art.Working with charcoal is really fun and very messy but I still enjoyed it.

Chocolate TOUCH

In our class we have been getting into myths and legends and so we stumbled into The legend of King Midas and his golden touch.But we mixed it up a little so we write a story about a chocolate touch instead of gold.Our story had to include a plot personality and characteristics.

Today in our class we had cybersmart and our lesson was to learn and explain different camera shots and angles. My favourite angle was the close up the purpose of a close up shot is to show emotions or details in the face. This cybersmart lesson was very fun and I got to learn a lot more camera shots.

King Midas Animation

In our class we have been getting into myths and legends one of these legends is King Midas and His golden touch. The story of King Midas is a story of a wealthy king that just wants more and more gold but he soon finds out that his kingdom is more important.

Charcoal Art

                                                      Paint Brush Art Inspired by Jim Dine
         
              In our class we have been doing charcoal art. First I drew a paintbrush and then began outlining the paintbrush I started to smudge the charcoal to get a shadow effect. After a while of outlining and smudging I ended up with a paintbrush with a shadow effect.

My Gabriel Moreno Art Work

Last term we started working on Gabriel Moreno inspired art.

First our teacher Mr.P took a picture of the side of our face. And second we traced around our face to get an outline. And from there we worked on patterns and designs  after that we started working on our art more and more. In the end I really enjoyed working on this piece of art because I learnt a new style of Art.

My League Experience

Over the last couple of weeks some Rugby League teachers have come in every Wednesday to teach us some tips on how to play League. We have run through a variation of drills and we have even started to put some of those skills into our games we have played. Some of the drills we did were fun and in some ways helpful teaching us how to catch and throw.

I really enjoyed playing actual games of League against each other and learnt how we all play.
